Also located in Copenhagen, Christiansborg Palace was constructed three different times throughout its history. The first was built by King Christian VI in the eighteenth century, while the one that stands today was completed in 1928. It serves as the current seat of the Danish Parliament, Supreme Court, and office of the prime minister, as well as where Queen Margrethe II hosts official events.
