The designer’s clients are quick to affirm that Cathy, indeed, attains her goal of creating warm and inviting homes that suit their needs—and make them happy—and they call on her anytime their spaces need sprucing. “We call it the ‘Golden Gate Bridge Syndrome,’ ” Cathy notes. “By the time you finish the last thing, the first needs redoing.”
