With a degree in interior design from Texas Christian University, Cathy began her career at the acclaimed firm of Minton & Corley, in Fort Worth. She honed her skills alongside Joseph Minton before taking her talents to Dallas to work with the late John Astin Perkins—a designer/architect whose impressive body of work includes some of the most beautiful homes in the area. In 1978, the young designer ventured out on her own with Cathy Kincaid Interiors, Ltd., a move that proved both successful and rewarding.
