Restoring a Castle: Château de Bourneau’s Transformation

Left: The La Suite de Fontaines bathroom during renovations. Right: The bathroom now features an antique clawfoot tub and several beautiful windowsErin and J. B. completely refurbished the bathroom in the Suite de Fontaines, learning to plumb and lay marble tile as the project progressed. Natural light spills in from windows overlooking the ancient moat and verdant park, and positioned beneath is a clawfoot tub Erin enameled herself. A vintage dresser was refitted as a vanity to add a warm touch to the peaceful hues on the walls.

“We have so many exciting plans for the château interiors,” says Erin. “We love continuing to improve it by adding more antique furnishings and soft touches, bringing the château back to her former glory that she so deserves.”
