With Louise as proprietress, “Miss Fatio’s” boarding house enjoyed even greater popularity. It was not unusual to find as many as thirty guests gathered in the sun-filled dining room to socialize and to dine on delicious fare. Patrons enjoyed three meals a day, with the largest served at noon.
