To See It Through: An Alderney Abode

The staircase is bathed in natural light and draped in vibrant red stair runner, kept in place with brassy carpet rods.

Fortunately, one special piece of history was discovered and restored thanks to that extensive construction: the exposed stone in the billiard room made from original Alderney pink granite. Another striking feature is the staircase, which was redesigned to allow for more natural light and the addition of a boot room and downstairs lavatory. Now, the space enjoys an airy feel.
