The historic seat of the Earls of Erne for more than 350 years, Northern Ireland’s Crom Castle carefully safeguards the past within its perimeter walls. The grounds, now parkland, invite visitors to picnic, walk through hazy meadows, and explore the noble surroundings.

Although I would prefer a modest cottage in the Cotswolds over a large castle or Manor house, I must admit there is an aspect of this grandeur that is both exciting and awe-inspiring. The sheer size and well thought out plans for each and every need to be met is really a feat deserving of our applause !
The beautiful interiors with the luxurious woods, fabrics, and paintings are simply breathtaking. No one does this quite like the English and much of this is in evidence with the gardens alone. Spectacular !
God bless !
