Hermitage Hotel
Open in 1910 as the city’s first million-dollar hotel, the Hermitage Hotel was constructed using Italian sienna marble, wall panels of Russian walnut, and a luminous cut-stained-glass ceiling in the vaulted lobby. The luxurious five-star hotel, a fine example of Beaux-Arts classicism, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
