Soft, cloud-like hues won’t seem bland when paired with stunning, rich-toned furnishings. Kristie chose pale shades for the walls throughout her home, and, in doing so, created a blank canvas where her ornate antiques truly shine.
She says flexibility is key. “I need to be able to move furnishings from room to room,” Kristie advises. “A neutral color palette and open floor plan lends to changing colors with the seasons.” An accomplished oil painter, Kristie’s romantic depictions of feminine florals spilling from delftware find pride of place in her creamy interiors.
