Located on this site since 1647, the Notre-Dame de Québec Basilica-Cathedral has been rebuilt twice in its long history, but nothing could diminish its spectacular beauty. The façade was reconstructed in the 1840s to resemble that of Sainte-Geneviève in Paris, and the cathedral is filled with splendid works of art.

We spent Christmas there in the old town in 2012. It was fantastic. When we’re not able to go to Europe, Quebec City will hold us over! 😉 Love that you featured it!
Such a lovely old city…I always enjoy my visits there.
