
“I wanted the house to be sophisticated but comfortable and livable,” she explains, “to be classic but have some ‘mountain’ elements.” With the home’s wide-open floor plan, it was imperative for all the furnishings to harmonize. To that end, she chose beautiful antique pieces that mix well with sumptuous sofas and chairs. An Aubusson tapestry and vintage French herbarium prints mingle perfectly with modern wrought iron light fixtures and copper accents.
