
As many vacation quarters do, the abode came furnished, but it was only natural that Elizabeth wanted to put her own mark on the interiors. She worked with Francie Hargrove, a Cashiers-based designer, to turn the place into the “light, airy getaway” this homeowner envisioned. Taking her color cues from the Blue Ridge Mountains just outside her door, Elizabeth has woven various shades of that versatile hue throughout, from soft sky to deep navy.
