The company’s stemmed goblets, which date back centuries, bear perfect examples of the unique attributes of Murano glass. These gracefully wrought works of art began as simple sand. After an all-night sand fusion process at a temperature of 1,400 degrees Celsius, the melted glass is ready for the glass masters to transform it into true masterpieces. These items are then tempered for six to eight hours, with additional time—one to five days—for further refinements and assembly.
