Q: What is the most common mistake you see homeowners make?
A: Not budgeting for furniture and window treatments when purchasing a home. Most people spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on a home, but when they call us and we ask about their budget for decorating, they often say that they have not given any thought to it.
Q: What is the most rewarding part of what you do?
A: The most rewarding parts are seeing a space come together and having happy clients. We once had a client tell us that we took the ugliest room in their house, which no one used, and made it the most beautiful; it is now a space where everyone wants to spend time.
Q: Could you share any advice for women who are considering becoming entrepreneurs?
A: Make sure that you have a few months’ financial cushion for the launch, and then go for it!
