With most of their projects, Odom first sets the stage by perfecting the architecture. While he sometimes designs structures from the ground up, more often his canvas is a historic home, the character of which he is able to preserve thanks to his classical training and eye for the past. The renewed space then becomes the backdrop onto which Kate will skillfully layer textiles, warm colors, and storied antiques in order to create mellow and welcoming environs that exude a sense of comfortable sophistication.
