Some years ago, Lesley and her husband purchased a 200-year-old cottage on a small holding in southwest Cornwall with the main intent to rent it as a holiday let. The business was so successful, they couldn’t squeeze in time for a stay of their own until the summer of 2012, when they came “for a bit of adventure,” and never went home.
