La Villa Augustine, a former private home that has been converted into a luxury boutique hotel, is a jewel of Apt, the capital of Luberon. The art nouveau villa, built in 1912 by a family who made their fortune from ocher mines, has five rooms, each decorated in a different twentieth century architectural style.
