Beginning her creative tenure as a wedding dress designer, Natasja Sadi turned her attention to baking while raising her two young children. With the same techniques used to fashion heaping piles of pristine taffeta into special gowns, Natasja thoughtfully crafts confections for her business, Cake Atelier Amsterdam, where desserts take on ethereal beauty—even making their way to Victoria’s January/February 2020 cover. Living in the flower capital of the world, she creates realistic sugary blooms so similar to their living counterparts, scores of her Instagram followers cannot discern which petals are edible. The floral pâtissier released her debut title, A Sweet Floral Life: Romantic Arrangements for Fresh and Sugar Flowers, in 2023.
