Château Dumas is the realization of Lizzie Hulme’s dream for a workshop venue. Ensconced on a hilltop near the village of Auty, the château was all but destroyed during the French Revolution, and the neoclassical-style structure that rose from the rubble still graces the lush landscape today. Vintage materials, above right, await an upcoming textile collage class.

I absolutely LOVED this article in the recent Victoria issue. I love natural linens and this really appealed to me (and what French linens don’t appeal to all of us ?)
I wish Lizzie lived closer to me – I would LOVE to attend one of these workshops ! It would be an awesome experience I am sure ! Ah, to dream…..
God bless !
