Most of the period furniture already occupied the house, as did the beautiful crockery, glassware, and porcelain, along with works of art made by friends of Cathérine’s parents. Many decorative objects were collected by Cathérine herself over the course of many years. She has managed to transform the once-rustic interiors into elegant and luminous spaces, using exquisite wallpapers and sumptuous fabrics.
