These days, the château doubles as a charming bed-and-breakfast, with Cathérine at the helm of this successful business. She has always had an interest in interior design—especially a particular fascination for textiles—therefore, creating inviting guest rooms has been an exceedingly enjoyable task. “Château de Nyon is not very large or exuberant, but rather modest, with intimate rooms that, in my opinion, ask for simple decoration,” says the cheerful chatelaine. “I wanted to give it a personal touch, in harmony with the building and the surroundings.”
