
Gems gathered by little ones soon find their way into delights such as a nourishing Four-Berry Smoothie Bowl, complemented by almonds and chia seeds.
Four-Berry Smoothie Bowl
Makes 6 servings
Ingredients
- 2 cups sliced fresh strawberries, divided
- 2 cups fresh raspberries, divided
- 2 cups fresh blackberries, divided
- 2 cups fresh blueberries, divided
- 2 bananas, sliced and divided
- 1 cup almond milk, divided
- 2 cups ice cubes, divided
- Garnish: fresh berries, sliced almonds, chia seeds
Instructions
- In the container of a blender, combine 1 cup strawberries, 1 cup raspberries, 1 cup blackberries, 1 cup blueberries, 1 sliced banana, and ½ cup almond milk. Process until mixture is smooth. Add 1 cup ice cubes, and process until mixture is thickened. Pour into 3 shallow bowls. Repeat process with remaining fruit, almond milk, and ice. Garnish servings with berries, almonds, and chia seeds, if desired. Serve immediately.
