After possessing and loving what they describe as “the perfect blanket” for many years, Beth LaSala and her family joked about creating their own. The lamb-patterned throw had been cherished, even fought over, for decades without them ever being able to find its match in quality. Eventually, in 2006, Beth partnered with a friend to found ChappyWrap, creating a blanket with a similar weave structure and size. And in 2018, as Beth’s partner sought to retire, her daughter Christina Livada stepped into the business. Thus, what began thanks to a family heirloom was now a true family business.
