As a natural-born leader with an affinity for fashion and for the section of London with which she fell in love while studying abroad, Mariah Walton Bencik founded West London Boutique. Achieving this dream was the culmination of many years’ hard work, gathering experience in retail management and even starting with a single rack of pieces for sale in her spare bedroom. Finally, serendipity brought her a storefront on New Orleans’ famed Magazine Street, where the brick-and-mortar shop vends only styles the owner would wear herself.
