
At their own abode, which is tucked amid verdant acreage that has belonged to Leslie’s family for five generations, exquisite relics abound. Though the house’s first iteration—a log dwelling that Leslie build decades ago—had more of a rustic feel, it has been reborn as a stately villa, constructed to reflect the owners’ fondness of finer things. Its grand façade boasts a turret guarded by two monumental bronze elk, after which the property was given its name: Elkwood Manor.
