The portrait-lined Grand Staircase leads to the China Landing, where a massive, custom-made cabinet holds more than three hundred pieces of china; the dome of the Great Hall features an ethereal fresco by Venetian artist Giovanni Antonio Pellegrini. Rather than keep this palatial splendor to themselves, the Howard family has graciously chosen to share it, making the estate available for tours and private events.
I would have loved to see some ornaments up close to see what variety they have.
