the enjoyment of sampling the medley. We begin with a blended mixture of frozen açaí purée, frozen bananas, coconut milk, and yogurt. Spooned into a serving dish, the refreshing mixture reaches perfection with coconut flakes, fresh fruit, and chia seeds.
Pomegranate-Coconut Açaí Bowl
Makes 2 to 3 servings
Ingredients
- 2 (3.5-ounce) packets frozen açaí purée
- 2 medium frozen bananas
- ½ cup unsweetened coconut milk
- ½ cup plain or dairy-free yogurt
- 1 medium banana, sliced
- 4 tablespoons pomegranate arils
- 4 tablespoons unsweetened coconut flakes
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
Instructions
- In the container of a blender, combine frozen açaí purée, frozen bananas, coconut milk, and yogurt. Blend until smooth. Transfer mixture into desired serving bowls. Top with sliced banana, pomegranate, coconut flakes, and chia seeds. Serve immediately.
