There are different approaches to design, with so many sources presenting varying opinions that it can become difficult to stay true to personal style. While eclecticism is sometimes favored, be careful to not let admiration for one beautiful aesthetic cause you to abandon your pursuit of another. You will come across myriad ideas throughout your design journey, and sometimes it is best to simply say, “That’s lovely but it’s not how I’ve chosen to adorn my home.”
