When newly retired Albert Roek was offered a job in central France, he and his wife, Clementine, were thrilled with the chance to live in the country they had long admired. Above: Pleasant summer weather beckons outdoor dining, where Clementine sets a table with some of her favorite blue-and-white crockery.

I loved this feature article in the new French Cottage Classics issue which I recently received. Not only were the photos wonderful, but I rather enjoyed the storyline behind it. I would love to trade places with this couple to enjoy a wonderful new life in this beautiful home and surroundings !
This special issue was a real treat to look through and to dream of visiting France and their beautiful countryside !
God bless !
