Once home to George Washington, Mount Vernon hosts a festive holiday evening. Before the tour, guests can view themed trees that pay tribute to the Washingtons and their home. The lantern-lit, character-guided tour takes guests around the property and ends with dancing and traditional eighteenth-century music.
Mount Vernon by Candlelight: Friday–Saturday, December 8–9, and Sunday, December 17; hours vary.
Christmas at Mount Vernon: Now through Saturday, January 6, 9 a.m.–4 p.m.
