The living and dining rooms are decorated with a nod to the romanticism of the Belle Époque, an age that spanned the late-nineteenth and early-twentieth centuries. The furnishings throughout the dwelling are a mesmeric mélange of curated antiques and reproductions. Old books and objets d’art have been arranged in various groupings here and there to create an atmosphere from another era, where time seems to stand still. Sandrine and Jacques’s love of French, Gustavian, and Italian style is evident in every thoughtfully designed space.
