2. Find new uses for old things.
Get creative with how you use your antiques. If you collect French enamelware canister sets, display some on your buffet table. Add them as a touch of beauty, or use one for arranging garden roses and another to hold your flatware. I’m always using our antiques in different ways. Just because something began its career as a coffee pot doesn’t mean it can’t hold a variety of long breadsticks for a soup dinner, for instance.
