Vanilla Buttercream
- 2⅔ cups unsalted butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 6½ cups confectioners’ sugar
- 3 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat butter and salt at medium speed until smooth and creamy. With mixer at low speed, gradually add confectioners’ sugar. Beat in cream and vanilla extract. Increase mixer speed to high, and beat until pale and fluffy, 1 to 2 minutes. Use immediately.
