Workdays are spent, says Heidi, “sourcing and blending the finest teas and botanicals into a devoted and articulate history of tea connoisseurship.” Every tea leaf is procured from the finest tea estates, whether from China, Sri Lanka, or Malawi. Some of Bellocq’s teas also list the farmer responsible for the particular crop, creating transparency for the brand.
Along with black, green, oolong, and white teas, Bellocq offers a plethora of brews that would entice any tea aficionado, such as puerh, matcha, and green yerba mate. With the opportunity to sample offerings, even the uninitiated can enjoy the complex blends. Heidi and Michael want patrons to experience the pleasures of tea, from putting on the kettle to savoring the last drop.
