In 2014, Nicki left her banking job and started a small homewares business, offering her framed embroideries among other items. The pieces sold well and resulted in commission work, but she had the niggling idea she wanted to do more. “I got so much from the process of stitching,” says Nicki, “that I wanted to share that experience with other people.”
